Christopher Lee 2011 Christmas Message
At a time when the thought of 'celebrity' conjures a hollow image true stars such as Christopher Lee continue to shine. The word 'legend' falls some what short?

With hindsight this is a slightly bitter sweet documentary on the greatest band too few have heard of, DAVID DEVANT & HIS SPIRIT WIFE. Enjoy.x

Sam Raimi's Original Green Goblin FX test.
Dig this, here is footage of the original Green Goblin FX test for Sam Raimi's 2002 Spider-Man flick.
I never had a problem with the way they did the Goblin but when you see this (and the unused concept art) you can't help but think of what could have been.
Also click here to check out the Ang Lee animatronic HULK test.
And thanks to Stuart for giving me the heads up on this.

My Homage to 'the CROW'
I did this sketch while watching an interview with the Crow creator James O'Barr who's quite an intense cat to say the least but a cracking artist and comic creator. For me the Crow still stands as one of the best big screen adaptations of a comic book character although the sequels are best forgotten about.

LUKE SKYWALKER SIGNED MY COMICS.
A friend of a friend was recently filming with Star Wars legend Mark Hamil and got these comics signed for me which is more than a wee bit cool, although writing ''Forcefully yours'' is slightly worrying. Much love goes out to Wee Clair and Allison for doing a Stirling job.
He also signed this copy of the 'BATMAN BEYOND: RETURN of the JOKER' comic. (for those not in the know he voiced the Joker in the cartoon this book is based on and almost every other animation and computer game that has featured the Clown Prince of Crime over the last 20 years.)

Alien Prequel 'PROMETHEUS': Things really where better in the old days.
New images have been released from Ridley Scott's next flick, Prometheus and already it seems to have fallen fowl to one of the many pitfalls related to the blight that is the 'Hollywood prequel', namely everything looks more technologically advanced in the past. (I'm treating this as an Alien prequel no matter what they say, don't believe the hype.)
It would seem in the 'Alien' universe astronauts go from sleek minimalist spandex to heavy duty haz-mat coveralls. In Alien 3 which is set even further in the future, the Weyland Yutani soldiers are sporting even heavier body protection.
A real world equivalent would be divers going from scuba gear to lead booted deep sea suits. Still good to see the Fantastic Four's costumes aren't going to waste. The Star Wars prequels suffered similar problems the least of all being that the Imperial Troopers hand held holographic communicators were fazed out in favour of intergalactic walkie-talkies. All this proves that even in space no one is safe form economic cut backs.

A SHAMELESS HOGMANY. x.
Here is some in house decoration I put together for the always excellent Shameless Hogmany gig (that's New Years gig for all my non Scottish brothers and sisters), so if your looking for somewhere to ring in the Bells or ring out your bell end then there really is only one place to be.
