Animated X-Men: Days of Future Past.
Just like the movie version these episodes are mash ups of different characters and story lines while sticking to the basic 'Days of Future Past' plot. Also just like the film it isn't Kitty Pryde who travels back in time but Bishop. As far as the movie is concerned it's Wolverine that makes the time jump and not Kitty, this is a massive missed opportunity instead we get another Wolverine movie which is something (at this point) surly no one wants?
I don't know who made this but if this mock up isn't used as the poster then some one really isn't doing their job....

Mark Kermode's 'On the Edge of Blade Runner' documentary...
Film critic Mark Kermode's 2000 documentary on one of the most influential and down right beautiful movies ever made. Of all the versions that are out there my favorite remains the original cut voice over and all. enjoy

Prisoners of Gravity: Jack Kirby Episode...
...of Prisoners Of Gravity host Rick Green in an attempted style of Jack Kirby.
This is the Jack Kirby episode of the fantastic 'Prisoners of Gravity' which was made by Canadian Public Broadcasting and hosted by TV pirate Commander Rick (Rick Green). The thing I take most from Kirby interviews is just how positive and forward thinking his attitude to superhero comics was and how in hindsight it shows how stunted the genre is today.

The Mach 1, 1966 Batmobile...
This Corvette designed by Chuck Jordan (the dapper gent perched on it's bonnet) was the first attempt at building a Batmobile for the '66 Batman TV show before the iconic 55 Lincoln Futura stepped in to fight the good fight. Click here to see the '55 Lincoln's first appearance in the movie 1956 movie 'It Started With a Kiss'.

Feeling Super Sonic...meeting your heroes.
As the old saying goes, 'You should never meet your heroes' the wee yins in these pictures would beg to differ. And before you get all too cool for school if you don't dig these throw out all those superhero comics you've got bagged and boarded cause you obviously don't get what they're (supposed to be) all about...
